<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of enhancing credibility as to whether or not it is returned to the normal state. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device 1 disables steering of a steering by fitting a lock bar 30 to a steering shaft 20 by driving force of a motor 10. The steering lock device 1 is provided with an unlock state detection switch 41; a lock state detection switch 42; and a steering lock ECU 40. A micro-computer of the steering lock ECU 40 recognizes the fact that it is returned from the abnormal state to the normal state when any of unlock operation control and lock operation control are normally completed from the abnormal state that any of the unlock state detection switch 41 and the lock state detection switch 42 are ON-operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
