<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute for chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons, giving minimum influence on the global environment and having high performance. <P>SOLUTION: The azeotropic or quasi-azeotropic composition is composed of 1-methoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFE-254pc) and methanol.
