<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate unevenness in the extruding performance between a plurality of instruments of a rubber extruder, and to compensate changes with time of the extruding performance of individual instruments. <P>SOLUTION: In a compensation parameter data base of this extruding speed setting device 20, a compensation parameter Xi which is a ratio between a measured value Li of a rubber extruding amount per unit time when the rubber extruder 1 is new and its standard value Z when the rotation speed of a motor 5 is set at a standard rotation speed R0 is stored. When the rubber extrusion amount per unit time of the rubber extruder 1 when the rotation speed of the motor 5 is set at the standard rotation speed R0 after that is a measured value Yi, the rotation speed Ri of the motor 5 is set to be R0×Xi×Yi/Li.
