PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable communication equipment for protecting significant data stored in its own equipment even when it drops. SOLUTION: This portable communication equipment is provided with a communication means for communicating with a base station, a storage means for storing data, an impact detection means for detecting any impact and a control means for, when the impact is detected by the impact detection means, controlling the communication means to transmit the data stored by the storing means to a predetermined external storage device.
