PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection processor capable of accurately detecting the fault of the image. SOLUTION: In response to no detection of the change of an image over a specified time, the processor decides whether the focused range owing to the automatic focusing of an imaging apparatus is within a specified range, and, if within a specified range, executes a fault detecting process.
