PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor that is capable of easily forming a metallikon electrode and adaptable to a large current. SOLUTION: A first and a second shields 7, 8 are formed on both ends of a metallized film 1. An evaporation part 6 is formed between the first and second shields 7, 8. A dielectric film 2 that covers the evaporation part 6 is disposed such that both ends thereof overlie on surfaces of the first and second shields 7, 8. Thus, ends of the evaporation part 6 are encircled by the first and second shields 7, 8 and the dielectric film 2 at both ends of a capacitor element. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
