PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of a manufacturing cost and lowering of reliability caused by a protrusion for input of coordinates. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with: an array substrate AR including a plurality of pixel electrodes PE arranged nearly in a matrix; a counter substrate CT including a common electrode CE facing the plurality of pixel electrodes PE; a liquid crystal layer LQ interposed between the substrates AR, CT and containing a liquid crystal composition in which alignment of liquid crystal molecules is controlled by an electric field applied from the array substrate AR and the counter substrate CT; a color filter CF arranged on one out of the array substrate AR and the counter substrate CT and comprising a plurality of coloring layers R, G, B aligned corresponding to the plurality of pixel electrodes PE; and a plurality of sensor portions detecting variation of distance between the array substrate AR and the counter substrate CT due to local pressurizing.
