PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping apparatus for storing a workpiece such as an electronic component in a carrier tape, which reliably and quickly stores a small workpiece in particular in the carrier tape without damaging the workpiece. SOLUTION: The taping apparatus for storing a workpiece W in a plurality of storage holes 17 provided at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the carrier tape T includes an engaging pin 45 engaging with the carrier tape T for longitudinally feeding the carrier tape T, a plurality of workpiece holding grooves 41a for holding the workpiece W to move it to an opening of the storage hole 17, and a push-out needle 51 for pushing out the workpiece W from the workpiece holding groove 41a to insert it into the storage hole 17.
