PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an opening for movement of a pillar of a headrest is largely opened and a foreign matter is caught when the headrest is forwardly moved for a countermeasure against a whiplash injury. SOLUTION: A rear-end collision sensor 20 for forwardly moving the headrest 2 at rear-end collision is provided on a back rest frame 1. The headrest 2 is mounted to a headrest mounting rod 5 in a left/right direction and left and right sides of the headrest mounting rod 5 are fixed to a pair of upper brackets 10 respectively. A distal end of an upper arm 11 having a base part pivotally attached to the back rest frame 1 is pivotally attached to a lower part of the upper bracket 10 and an upper part of a rod 14 is pivotally attached to an upper part of the upper bracket 10. A lower part of the rod 14 is mounted to the rear-end collision sensor 20 through a lower link rod 16 and a movement side guide member 26 for restricting an upper movement direction of the rod 14 by a fixed side guide member 25 provided on the back rest frame 1 is provided on an intermediate part in a vertical direction of the rod 14 such that a turning center of the headrest 2 becomes a neighborhood to a pillar support member 6.
