PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative board excellent in various characteristics such as caster resistance, dimensional stability, crack resistance and adhesion properties of a decorative sheet, and to provide a manufacturing method of such a decorative board. SOLUTION: The decorative board A1 is furnished with a thermosetting resin layer 3 on the surface of a board base material 1 and has a decorative sheet layer 4 as the uppermost layer. The decorative board is formed so that it may have a porous sheet layer 5 between the resin layer 3 and the decorative sheet layer 4, that the thermosetting resin of the resin layer 3 may penetrate into the porous sheet layer 5 and that the adhesive 6 bonding the decorative sheet layer 4 may penetrate into the porous sheet layer 5. Because of this the decorative board comes excellent in various characteristics such as caster resistance (resistance to load), dimensional stability (resistance to swelling by water), crack resistance (resistance to heat cycle) and adhesion properties of the decorative sheet.
