PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter designed to effect cost reduction through reducing the number of parts constituting row-stop levers. SOLUTION: The transplanter includes such an operative tool 91 as to be capable of selectively halting the driving of any planting drive shaft 28 among a plurality of planting drive shafts 28 and the driving of the seedling conveyor 25 corresponding to the above planting drive shaft 28, wherein the operative tool 91 is designed to be transversely swingable based on a neutral position N. This transplanter has the following mechanism: by one-way operation of the tool 91 from the neutral position N, the drivings of one of the adjoining two planting drive shafts 28 and the corresponding seedling conveyor 25 are halted, while by the other-way operation, the drivings of the other planting drive shaft 28 and the corresponding seedling conveyor 25 are halted. Further, at the neutral position N, the tool 91 is designed to be swingable rectangularly to the direction of its transverse swing operation, and thereby the drivings of the adjoining two planting drive shafts 28 and the corresponding seedling conveyors 25 can be halted simultaneously.
