<p>There is provided an optical film production method capable of enhancing throughput by spreading a film without breaking it. There are also provided a film guiding method, equipment for use therein, an optical film obtained by that production method, and an image display employing it. The optical film production method comprises a step for immersing a film into solution and is characterized in that the film is arranged over at least a pair of carry rolls for carrying the film in a predetermined direction under a state where the film is not touching the solution, and then the film is stretched not to have any slack before being immersed into the solution.</p> |
