PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a sense of incongruity to occupants by abrupt change of acceleration. SOLUTION: An ECT_ECU performs a program having a step determining a drive mode (S100), a step for discriminating whether an engine is in an idle state or not (S102), a step for detecting the gear stage of an automatic transmission (S104) in an idle state (YES in S102), a step for detecting the change rate of accelerator opening (S106), a step for detecting a vehicle speed (S108), a step for calculating the target change rate of acceleration of a vehicle (S110) based on the drive mode, gear stage, change rate of accelerator opening, and vehicle speed, and a step for calculating a target acceleration by integrating the calculated change rate of the target acceleration by time (S112).
