摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of performing highly accurate control by successively estimating the change of dead time. SOLUTION: The control device uses a plant model expressing a control object (an engine 10, an A/F sensor 13, or the like) by a discrete mathematical expression model, and identifies parameters of the plant model in such a manner that an identification error which is the difference between plant model output, i.e., output when input to the control object (the engine 10, the A/F sensor 13, or the like) is added to the plant model, and the actual output of the control object (an air-fuel ratio detected by the A/F sensor 13), is brought close to zero. At this time, discretization is performed in a form of including partial information of dead time of the control object (the A/F sensor 13) in the model parameters. Partial information of the dead time included in the discrete model parameters can thereby be estimated, and based on the change of the estimate, the dead time is estimated to approach the actual dead time of the control object.
