PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding mechanism of a door body capable of smoothly making rotational operation of the holding mechanism of the door body having difficulty in receiving an influence of up and down motion on a door head side and the door body in the slidable and swingable door body. SOLUTION: The holding mechanism of the door body is so constituted that a door tail side of the upper end section of the door body 2 is connected to a slider 10 in a rotatable manner and that the door head side of the upper end section of the door body 2 is connected to the slider 10 through the holding mechanism. The holding mechanism has a hanging member 16 provided to the slider 10 and a hanging receiving member 17 provided to the door body 2, a fitting section is provided to one of both pendent member 16 and pendent receiving member 17, a fitting receiving section is provided to the other and, at the same time, the fitting section and the fitting receiving section are detachable in the horizontal direction. The hanging receiving section 17 is born on the hanging member 16 in a state to fit the fitting section to the hanging receiving section to connect the door body 2 with the slider 10, and when the door body 2 is pivoted, the hanging receiving member 17 is moved in the horizontal direction to separate the door body 2 from the slider 10.
