PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conditioning agent improving durability of hair. SOLUTION: A use for cosmetically treating a keratinic material with a film-forming composition comprising at least one electrophilic monomer and at least one non-siloxane polymer in a cosmetically acceptable solvent (consequently, a film obtained by drying the composition at room temperature at a relative humidity level of about 50 % has a Young's modulus of 100 to 2,000 MPa in a thickness of 0.5 mm at a pulling speed of 20 mm/min).
