PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound having an effect on the protection against plant diseases. SOLUTION: This invention relates to an amide compound represented by formula (1) (wherein Q is 5-membered or 6-membered heteroaryl which may be substituted with a halogen, 1-5C alkyl or 1-5C alkoxy; R4is a 1-4C alkyl; R5is a 3-4C alkynyl; and X is O or S), and a protection agent against plant diseases containing the above compound as an effective component.
