ENDOSCOPY TRAINING SIMULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopy training simulator which improves reality sense of the simulation of an inserted tube guided along a body lumen and gives feeling like real equipment to an angulation control unit and a dummy controller of a controller for controlling a flow of fluid. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an endoscopy training simulator in which data connections passing through the umbilical linking an operation body and a base unit are multiplexed over one or more shared transmission lines. The umbilical and a connected angulation control unit may be unplugged from the base unit. On the operation body, a dummy fluid controller is provided by using a non-contact electrical sensor such as a Hall effect sensor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
