The invention relates to a method, device and computer program product which make it possible to automatically modify a computer-accessible construction model (12.1). At each case, an initial construction model (10) for a technical product and at least one construction model (12) for a product component are predefined. A geometrical object (7) of the product initial construction model (10) is combined with a geometrical object (8) of the component initial construction model (12). Said combination comprises an automatically evaluated interdependence regulation. A product construction model (10.1) and a component construction model comprising the copies (7.1, 8.1) of the geometrical objects (7, 8) are obtainable by the copies of the initial construction models (10, 12, 13). At least one geometrical object (8.1) contained in the component construction model (12.1) and combined with a modified geometrical object is automatically modified at least once according to the modification of the geometrical object (7.1) contained in the product construction model (10.1). For this purpose, the interdependence regulation of the combination is used. |
