Piece of furniture has drawer blocking device (11) arranged at rear area of furniture. Blocking ledge, running over drawer row (5,6) in vertical direction, is so arranged that pulling out of one drawer restricts movement of other drawers. Blocking ledge consists of flap recess (20,21) arranged in vertical direction in form of recess array (18,19). Flap recess are limited by adjustable flaps (22,23) and restoring flaps (24,25). When drawer is pulled from its accumulating surface (29), hooking projection (27) runs against the respective adjustable flap and blocking ledge is brought into its effective position and when drawer is pushed into its accumulating surface, hooking projection runs against the respective restoring recess and the blocking ledge is brought into an ineffective position. |
