The single use medical peristaltic pump hose has an evaluating electronic circuit (8) including a transmitter and receiver mounted on the pump and a single use guarantee circuit (10) on the hose (2,3) in communication with the evaluation circuit. The evaluation circuit controls operation of the pump depending on data received from the guarantee circuit.
