<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper postprocessor capable of performing Z fold, half fold, three-fold of one-sided gate fold and four-fold (parallel fold) by one unit without changing a mechanism of a present Z-folding part, in the paper postprocessor having a Z-folding function. <P>SOLUTION: This paper postprocessor is connected to an image forming device, performs folding processing in a Z-letter shape to paper ejected from the image forming device, and has a first stopping member 4 capable of moving a position arranged in a second carrying passage 14 for stopping the paper tip, a pair of rollers formed of a first roller 6 and a second roller 7 for forming a fold line by nipping the deflection of the paper in this first stopping member 4, a second stopping member 10 capable of moving a position arranged in a first carrying passage 15 for stopping the paper passed through this pair of rollers, and a pair of rollers formed of the second roller 7 and a third roller 8 for forming a fold line by nipping the deflection of the paper by the second stopping member 10; and formes the four-fold by controlling the stopping position of the second stopping member 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
