<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To streamline prescription data input by integrating data input methods. <P>SOLUTION: A prescription reception apparatus 10 for imaging a prescription in a prescription scanning part 20 and producing prescription data from the image in a data processing part 30, if the image includes a two-dimensional code (Step S12), converts it into prescription data (Step S13), or if there is no two-dimensional code (Step S21), applies character recognition to the image to convert it into prescription data.
