HIGH-FREQUENCY TREATMENT INSTRUMENT FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency treatment instrument for endoscopes which repeatedly implements a mucosal elevation treatment and a dissection treatment safely with one treatment instrument without hurting normal mucous membranes or the like with the distal end of a needle or having the cauterized tissue clogged inside the needle.

SOLUTION: In the high-frequency treatment instrument for endoscopes equipped with a cylindrical puncture needle 2 which is made of a conductive member and protrudes from and sets in the distal end of a flexible sheath 1 inserted in and detached from a treatment instrument insertion channel of the endoscope and a high-frequency power supply cord connecting terminal 19 which is disposed at an operational part 10 connected to the proximal end of the flexible sheath 1 and makes an electrical continuity with the puncture needle 2, the puncture needle 2 has the distal end surface 2a which is substantially perpendicular to an axis 2x and a peripheral edge part 2r formed into a blunt shape.
