PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system, an image output control method, a program of implementing its method, and a recording medium where the program is stored for avoiding useless output when image data are separated and outputted with a facing size too large to store in the recording medium. SOLUTION: In the image output system, received printing image data including small-size image data are so separated that read region of printing image data has a marginal part among adjoining images, and each of separated image data is respectively outputted to a recording medium. The image output system includes a detecting means (32) for detecting a richness value of a pixel which constitutes each divided printing image data, and a control means (33) for inhibiting the separated image data from being outputted to the recording medium if the pixels of the separated printing image data are constituted only by white according to the detected result.
