PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce oscillations occurring due mutual repulsion between a light-emitting tube provided, inside an outer glove and a light-emitting tube supporting pillar fixing the light-emitting tube when a discharge lamp is lit by a rectangular wave lighting method electronic stabilizer, and to suppress the occurrence of noise due to the oscillation. SOLUTION: A part of the light-emitting tube support pillar 4L, provided with a pillar part 14 extended in a direction parallel to the long direction of the light-emitting tube 3 facing the light-emitting tube 3, does not constitute a power supply lead supplying lamp power to the light-emitting tube 3 and the power supply lead connected to an electrode, which is farther away from a base 1 among the electrodes of the light-emitting tube 3 is formed by a lead wire with a diameter narrower than that of the pillar part 14 of the light-emitting tube support pillar 4L and wired so as to be in parallel with the pillar part 14 in the discharge lamp.
