PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion type EL element having a new structure capable of emitting light with high brightness for a long time by suppressing deterioration of the element. SOLUTION: This is the dispersion type electroluminescent element which has at least one light-emitting layer between a pair of electrodes composed of a rear electrode and a transparent electrode, and the luminous layer contains phosphor particles containing at least one kind of element out of gold, cesium, antimony, and bismuth, and heat conductivity of the rear electrode is 200 W/m×K or more.
