PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electric power source from being disconnected by an erroneous operation during measurement of a bodily temperature under an invisible condition, without using complicated constitution. SOLUTION: The issue of pushing down an electric power source switch 15 is monitored under an electrified condition (ST1). The issue of the pushing-down is continued to be monitored when not pushed down. When the electric power source switch 15 is determined to be pushed down, a result of pushing down the electric power source switch 15 for 2 seconds or more as it is thereafter is monitored (ST2). The result of pushing down the electric power source switch 15 is continued to be monitored returned to the ST1, when the electric power source switch 15 is determined not to be pushed down for 2 seconds or more. The electric power source is started to be disconnected when the electric power source switch 15 is determined to be continuously pushed down for 2 seconds or more (ST3). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
