PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating appliance capable of providing a healthy heating by infrared ray with a sense of refreshing or healing to the living body while ensuring safety from every side, performing a timer-controllable indoor heating and a time-lag heating in combination with a thermal storage agent, and being set in any place regardless of the installing attitude or its environment. SOLUTION: This heater is a warmer comprising a tough synthetic resin tube having an inside diameter of 5 cm or more and an electric heating surface element by a black body mainly composed of carbon, a necessary quantity of which is contained in the tube.
