PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press forming method by which material flow which is generated on a work is controlled without bringing about the drop of yield or the like. SOLUTION: In a pressing step ( pressing step using a press 5 for rough bending ) after charging the work 100, a conical parts 105 is formed in the set position of the work 100 with conical die parts 19b, 25b which are provided on a lower die 16 and an upper die 17, in pressing steps ( a pressing step using a press 6 for finish bending and a pressing step using a press 7 for trimming ) after now, press working is applied to a work 101 ( or a work 102 ) in a state where the conical part 105 is held with conical guide parts 39b, 41b provided on a lower die 36 and an upper die 37( or conical guide parts 59b, 61b provided on a lower die 56 and an upper die 57 ).
