DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISM

A door opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing an opening of a body section (6) by causing a door (2a), attached to the body section (6), to be in contact with and to leave from the periphery of the opening. The door opening and closing mechanism has a handle (5) and a lever member (30). The handle (5) is supported at the door (2a) by a shaft (51) and pivoted by holding an operation section (5a). The lever member (30) has a second shaft section (32b) pivotally connected to the door (2a), a first shaft section (32a) pivotally connected, on the same side as the operation section (5a) relative to the shaft (51), to the handle (5), and a cam lever (31) provided on the opposite side of the first shaft section (32a) relative to the second shaft section (32b) and positioned across from a slide outer cam (12) provided on the body section (6). Pulling the operation section (5a) causes the cam lever (31) to press the slide outer cam (12), causing the door (2a) to be separated from the periphery of the opening by a predetermined distance.
