An air conditioner having an indoor unit in which a heat exchanger and a fan for blowing air, which has been subjected to heat exchange by the heat exchanger, into a room are received in a body, wherein a filter net is attached to the body on the upstream side of the heat exchanger and a filter device for cleaning the filter net is provided in the air conditioner. The filter device has a dust separation member for separating dust adhered to the filter net from the filter net. The dust separation member is made from a sheet.
