<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge which the image forming device transportable, together with the process cartridge loaded in it, without damaging the photoreceptor drum, and to provide an electrophotographic image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This is a process cartridge for pressing a recording medium against the photoreceptor drum 7 with the transfer roller 4, to transfer the image formed on the photoreceptor drum 7 to the recording medium and is detachable in the body of the image forming device. It has a photoreceptor drum 7, a processing means of acting on the photoreceptor drum 7, and a drum shutter 100 which is provided in the cartridge frame and can move to a position of separating the drum 7 and the transfer roller 4 from each other, and to a position for holding the drum 7 and the roller 4 together abutting against each other, when the process cartridge is loaded in the body of the image forming device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
