<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of evenly and uniformly illuminating a wall of a building or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This luminaire has a luminaire housing 11 equipped with a light source unit 12, at least one reflector member 13 and a luminaire opening 24. The light source unit 12 is formed with a nearly closed hollow body 17 with the inside formed into a mirror finished surface. At least two light sources 21, 22 and 23 having different colors, for instance, two luminescent substance lamps are arranged in the hollow body, and the hollow body has a light emitting opening 18. Light emitted from the light sources is mixed in terms of colors and passes through the light emitting opening. In that case, a reflector member 130 is so disposed that at least an overwhelming part of light emitted from the light source unit 12 and impinging on a building surface 16 are reflected by the reflector member in optical paths P1, P2, P3 and P4 between the light emitting opening 18 and the luminaire opening 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
