<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer which can cut a master with high precision without designing the device on a large scale. <P>SOLUTION: The stencil printer has an encoder 16 which detects the rotary speed of a drum 1 and a control device 32. A control means 32 sets a starting position of a master cutter 5 for cutting a master 9 to the desired length as a reference starting position, when the drum 1 rotates at a reset reference speed, and seeks a correction level to a reference starting position of the master cutter 5 so as to make the length of the master 9 as desired, in accordance with a change level of the rotary speed of the drum 1, when it is detected by the encoder 16 that the rotary speed of the drum 1 has changed to the reference speed. Further, the control means 32 starts the master cutter 5 in a corrected reference position, and thus it is possible to certainly cut the master 9 to the desired length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
