<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of excellently managing fastening force of a fastening means such as a bolt to be used when mounting an air bag on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag device is provided with the air bag 15 mounted by using a mounting piece part 32 and deployed and inflated at the time of inflow of gas for inflation. In the air bag 15, a mounting bracket 34 having a pair of sheet metal abutting plates 35 and 36 disposed on front and rear sides of the mounting piece part 32 is mounted on an inner panel 2 by using the bolt 38 as the fastening means. An insertion hole 32a of the mounting piece part 32 is set to a size in which a portion 32b constituting a peripheral edge may be disposed at a position deviated from a region between a head part 38a of the bolt 38 and the inner panel 2 when fastening a fastening stem part 38b of the bolt 38 to the inner panel 2. The bolt 38 is fastened to the inner panel 2 in a state of interposing only a mounting bracket 35 between the inner panel 2 and the head part 38a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
