<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of increasing the connection strength even when a connection mouth part of an airbag and an inflator can be connected to each other by utilizing a clamp. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device comprises an airbag 12 which is folded and stored in a storage part of a vehicle, and protruded from the storage part and developed and inflated by allowing inflation gas to flow therein, and an inflator 34 to feed inflation gas to the airbag. The airbag 12 has a cylindrical connection mouth part 25 which is externally fitted to the inflator 34 to allow the inflation gas from the inflator 34 to flow therein, clamped by a clamp 40, and connected to the inflator 34. The connection mouth part 25 has a projecting part 25a for preventing detachment of the connection mouth part 25 from the inflator 34 on a part forming a forward end side from the clamp 40 when the connection mouth part is connected to the inflator 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
