<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display capable of forming a small aperture in a color filter while a residue is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display comprises (a) a process for forming a radical polymerization type color filter layer having negative photosensitivity on one substrate of the liquid crystal display, (b) a process for performing exposure a plurality of times at time intervals to the color filter layer using a mask having a light shielding pattern separated in a light transmission region and (c) a process for developing the color filter layer after the process (b) to form a color filter pattern having an aperture having a width of a prescribed value or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
