<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode for an alkaline storage battery capable of restraining separation of a solvent in the paste without changing a paste property. <P>SOLUTION: An active material, an accessory agent, and a solvent are kneaded to make up paste, after which the paste is put in a tank with nearly a circular cross section, and is preserved by rotating the tank with an acceleration of centrifugal force of 0.04 m/s<SP>2</SP>or more and 0.4 m/s<SP>2</SP>or lower along the nearly circular cross section of the tank.
