PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate residual unnecessary components contained in a speed signal efficiently in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. SOLUTION: The speed signal outputted from a noise processing section 20 contains residual unnecessary components that are eliminated by a residual unnecessary component processing section 22. In particular, the speed value of each sample point is subjected to ternary coding processing by a ternary coding section 28, and a correlation value calculating section 30 calculates a correlation value on the basis of the processed result. An eliminating section 32 discriminates, with regard to each sample point, a blood flow component and a residual unnecessary component from the combination of the speed value and the correlation value, and carries out residual unnecessary signal eliminating processing.
