PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color-shading compensation for unsymmetric and complex color shading, and also perform precise color-shading compensation in photographing with compensation for blurring caused due to hand movement or the like. SOLUTION: An imaging device is provided with a CCD 21, a blur compensating portion 50 for compensating displacement between an optical axis of a photographic lens 3 and the CCD 21 due to blurring, a CCD position control stand 51 for detecting the relative position between the optical axis and the CCD 21, a memory 1021 for storing sequence pattern information of comparison points beforehand, a color-shading compensation data table memory 101 for storing color-shading compensation information for each color at each comparison point of the sequence pattern, beforehand, a color shading compensation data switch 102 for switching to the color-shading compensation information of the comparison point adjacent to the relative position determined, by comparing the relative position with each comparison point, and an image processing unit 42 for performing the color-shading compensation with respect to a taken image, based on the switched color shading compensation information.
