PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which indicates a high luminous efficiency, has a long luminous lifetime and reduces luminous defects, an indicator having the organic electroluminescence element, and a lighting device. SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescence element; a first electrode, structure layers containing at least a luminous layer, and a second electrode are laminated on a substrate in this order, to fetch an emitted light from a second electrode side. The organic electroluminescence element contains at least one kind of a compound in which at least one layer of the structure layers is represented by a general expression (A).
