PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material constituted of a sandwich structure of aluminum composite and aluminum alloy having neutron absorption capability and superior in cost and processability compared with conventional materials. SOLUTION: The plate material of the present invention with neutron absorption capability is an integral body of an aluminum composite, which contains B4C having neutron absorption capability in Al or Al alloy parent phase and is sintered without pressure, and easily processible aluminum layer on both sides of the aluminum composite.
