PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of generating stable feeding pressure, without damaging a spring material even if a sheet storage means electrically continued with a bottom plate by the spring material is attached and detached many times, while using the sheet storage means having an attaching-detaching direction orthogonal to the sheet feeding direction, and an image forming device with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The bottom plate 41 for placing a sheet P on the sheet storage means 4, is movably arranged in the vertical direction. An abutting member 41a extending along a side end part in the installing direction of the sheet storage means 4, is suspended by the side end part in the installing direction of the sheet storage means 4 of the bottom plate 41. The spring material 6 abutting on a conductive part arranged in a device body 1A, is also arranged in the device body 1A. When installing the sheet storage means 4, the spring material 6 is allowed to elastically abut on the abutting member 41a of the bottom plate 41, to be conductive between the conductive part and the bottom plate 41 of the device body 1A.
