PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a power transmission chain which can easily be assembled. SOLUTION: According to the power transmission chain manufacturing method, outer peripheral faces of pin members P arranged in a condition assembled as a chain 1 are held by an assembly die 5 and pin holes 2a of link plates 2 press-fitted in the pin members P and arranged therein, and the pin members P can be accurately positioned.
