PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and handy type phototherapy apparatus in which light emitting power is variable. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a handy type irradiation device including a filament light source 1 for emitting infrared rays of wavelength 600-1,800 nm through a light guide 23, and an electric power supply device for the filament light source. Electric power supply device has two modes, standard lighting mode (Ms) in which filament light source 1 is controlled to a predetermined standard electric current value, and modulated lighting mode (Mc) in which electric current is reduced in terms of the standard electric current value.
