The unit contains separate retainers (16) for the measuring objects (14), where two of the retainers are arranged shifted to one another. The retainers are formed as module units, and a bevel is provided at an outer side of an attachment edge of the retainers. The module units are separatable from the carrier unit of the measuring unit in a non-destructive manner.
