A liquid level detection device (1) allowing terminals to be detached therefrom and capable of suppressing the generation of silver sulfide, comprising a movable contact (2) displaced according to a variation in liquid level, a sliding part (5) allowing the movable contact (2) to be slid on a circuit board (4), a resistor (7) connected to the sliding part (5), and connection parts (8) in contact with the terminals (9), wherein at least the portions of the connection parts (8) coming into contact with the terminals (9) are covered by second resistors (16), whereby the resistance value of the resistor (7) varying when the movable contact (2) slides on the sliding part (5) can be outputted from the terminals (9) through the connection parts (8).
