<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast signal processing apparatus capable of facilitating a work of connecting one or a plurality of signal lines of broadcast signals to a plurality of signal input terminals, and capable of setting a signal connection state for allowing maximum utilization of functions equipped on an apparatus when a plurality of tuners receiving inputted broadcast signals are provided, and to provide a television receiver equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a wideband switcher 6, a so-called matrix switcher, capable of arbitrarily setting the connection state of a signal transmission path from two signal input terminals i1, i2 each receiving inputted broadcast signals to three tuners 1a, 1b, 1c. In each of states where the connection state of the signal transmission path from the signal input terminals i1, i2 to the plurality of tuners 1a, 1b, 1c are sequentially switched, the tuners 1a, 1b, 1c detect the types of broadcast signals on the basis of signals after channel selection processing with respect to the broadcast signals, and a control circuit 8 controls the connection state of the signal transmission path in the wideband switcher 6 based on the of detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
