<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying and separating nerve stem cells or a nerve stem cell-enriched population in living cell state without performing the introduction of different genes not existing in a living body, etc., the nerve cell-enriched population obtained by the method and a reagent for screening the nerve stem cells used in the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method for detecting and fractionally collecting cells highly expressing Nestin, and as a result, nerve stem cells and nerve precursor cells are provided by utilizing a fact that the expression of an MDR1 is correlated with the expression of the Nestin in the nerve stem cells, reacting an anti-MRD1 antibody with a cell population, screening the MDR1-expressing cells being positive with the reaction with the anti-MDR1 antibody and fractionally collecting them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
